This page explains what personal data we collect when you use peternordberg.org, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

Who is responsible for your data
This website is operated by Bringing His Presence (“we”, “us”), a non-profit association registered in Sweden with organisation number 802475-5830. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.
Email info@peternordberg.org with any question about this policy, or to exercise any of the rights below — that is the address to use, and we answer it ourselves.
What we collect, and why
We only collect what a specific thing you do actually requires. Nothing on this site profiles you or builds an advertising audience.
- Contact and booking forms
- Your name, email address and whatever you write in the message — plus, for a booking inquiry, the details about your church or event. This is sent to our office as an email so we can answer you. It is not stored in a database.
- Newsletter
- Your email address, an optional name, and a record of your consent: when you signed up, when you confirmed, and the IP address the signup came from. We ask you to confirm by email before we send you anything, so nobody can be added to the list by someone else.
- Orders from the store
- Your name, email address, delivery address and what you ordered. We keep this because it is the record of a purchase — we need it to ship your order, answer questions about it, and satisfy bookkeeping law.
- Gifts and partnership
- A one-time gift is anonymous to us — the payment goes through Stripe and their receipt is the record. If you become a monthly partner we keep your name, email address and the subscription reference so we can administer the partnership.
- Watching videos
- Videos play from YouTube's no-cookie domain in a player embedded on this site. Google may still register that the video was loaded. We receive nothing about who watched what.
Our legal basis
The newsletter is sent on the basis of your consent, which you give by confirming your subscription and can withdraw at any time.
Answering your message, handling an order and administering a partnership are all necessary to perform what you asked us for, or to take steps at your request before doing so.
Keeping accounting records for orders and gifts is a legal obligation under Swedish bookkeeping law.
How long we keep it
Newsletter subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe. When you unsubscribe we keep a record that you did, so that we do not accidentally add you again.
Emails from the contact and booking forms are kept in our office inbox for as long as they are useful for the conversation, and then deleted.
Order and gift records are kept for seven years, as Swedish bookkeeping law requires.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for marketing. We do use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf, under contracts that bind them to it:
- Supabase
- Database hosting — newsletter subscribers, orders and partnerships are stored there.
- Stripe
- Payment processing for orders, gifts and partnerships. Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers.
- Resend
- Sends our email — confirmations, receipts and the newsletter.
- Vercel
- Hosts this website.
- Google / YouTube
- Serves the embedded videos, from the no-cookie domain.
Some of these providers are based outside the EU/EEA. Where data leaves the EEA, the transfer relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking cookies and uses no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers. That is why you are not being asked to accept anything.
The store keeps your shopping cart in your own browser's local storage so it survives a page reload. It never leaves your device until you check out, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your data, where we have no obligation to keep it
- restrict or object to how we use it
- hand your data to you, or to someone else, in a portable format
- stop sending you the newsletter — every email has an unsubscribe link, and one click is enough
Write to info@peternordberg.org and we will respond within one month. If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, payment details are handled entirely by Stripe, and access to the systems holding personal data is limited to the people who administer the ministry.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes affecting newsletter subscribers will also be sent by email.
